It's fall break here, so yesterday we checked the kids out early and hit the road for our seventh annual trip to my family's cabin at Lake Tenkiller. So, I'll be parked right here for the next four days with some of my favorite people in the entire world--friends you know so well you can fold each other's underwear right out of the dryer or discuss bowel movements one minute and deep spiritual things the next. Lots of laughs, games, stories, walks in the woods, boat rides on the lake, and late night movies.
No wi-fi. No Walmart or Starbucks.
It might be my favorite week of the year.
