Bridesmaid Visit

My good friend Tara is here visiting us tonight. She flew in from Baltimore earlier this week, spent some time with her younger brother for a few days, and is spending the night with us tonight. Tara was one of my bridesmaids in my wedding. She and I met 17 years ago in high school, and have remained friends even though she has moved all over the country. Currently she is in full time ministry, spending several months out of the year working with women in the red light district in Thailand. She shared some amazing stories about her work tonight at our church home group. Here's a pic of us at my wedding back in 1999. Now off to visit some more before she leaves to go back to the east coast tomorrow!
